We put our big 5 bedroom house on the market - it sold the day we listed it!
We are downsizing to a 3 bedroom contempory ranch which my husband has gutted and is totally making over!
I have a few pictures in my gallery showing the renivations.
The furniture in the pictures will not stay in those rooms, it will go into the family room which ia waiting for carpet.
The kitchen cabinets come tomorrow.
Right now we are using the laundry room as a make shift kitchen with an apartment size frig and a microwave. Thank goodness it's good weather for grilling!

Anyway, that is what I've been up to.
I did manage to enter the May contest at Manipulate-This.
Not my best work and right to the deadline.
Packing and moving just took too much of my time.
I still can't believe we did it in 1 month! No wonder I am tired!!

I am so anxious for the warmer weather!
My job is going well, always busy!
We are in the process of moving to a smaller house, downsizing.
A 5 bedroom house is too big for only two people.
The day we listed our house we had an offer. After a week back and forth we had an accepted offer.
Now we sort through and pack up 15 years of accumulated junk.
Busy, busy, busy!

The picture on my page is of my 96 year old Grandmother. My Daughter took the pictures of my her and has pictures available in her DA stock account.
It was so fun playing dress-up with Grandma.

I was able to make her Christmas cards to send out to family and friends.

Time to update!

Merry Christmas everyone!

Well, I have a job! Not as much time to play with photo shop now, but I still do occassionally - with less sleep of course!

The show went great and I have a few set pictures that I will try to download soon. Like a Santa sleigh and throne. Could be fun to do something with.

My daughter is at Mayo clinic in Rochester Minn. going through tests.
Please keep her in your prayers for good positive results.

The weather's cold, the snow is beautiful, and God continues to bless us in many ways!

Nov 13 - 15 The Show Goes On!!!

As stated in my last journel, I am a "Thespian"!
I love theater!
I love it! The friendships you make in theater you will keep for a lifetime! It is awesome!
As president of our local community "musical" theater I have found that I have had to be on "every" committee.
I miss my grandkids, my playing with photoshop!
Although I did sneek in a few hours and submit to the "October Manipulate This Challenge". What a great break! I was having withdraw from DeviantArt!!
Costumes are "almost" done! Yea! I still have a few alterations and a "Jack-in-theBox" to finish.
We are doing "Here's Love" by Meridith Willson, which is a musical of "Miracal On 34th Street". It will be an awsome show! Our director and cast are fantastic!
Tonight I am going to make a big 3 tiered paper-mache birthday cake for props. Wish me luck there.
Next week I get to help (be in charge of) set painting. It is amazing what you can make out of styrophome! I'll have to get pictures and load them here for stock.
I get so excited when I think how everything is going to all pull together and turn out to be fantastic community entertainment!
IF you ever get the opportunity to be involved in your own community theater - whether it be acting, sewing, advertising, set design or construction, creating in any way - DO! It is an experience you will never ever forget!
